The European Experts And Professors Jointly Study “The Phenomenon of Yiwu”
"China's internationalized city Yiwu: integrity, goods and international trader" project started in Yiwu Industrial and Commercial College. The Municipal Standing Committee member, the vice mayor Xiong Tao attended the launching event.
It is understood, "China's internationalized city Yiwu: integrity, goods and international trader" project was funded by the European Research Council. The host units as Sussex University Global Research Institute, also University of Cambridge, University of London Royal Holloway College, Denmark Copenhagen University, Yiwu Industrial and Commercial College, China International E-commerce Center jointly carried out the project. The professor of Department of Anthropology, University of Sussex Global Research Institute, the director of University of Sussex Asian Research Center, Ma Sidun served as the person in charge. This project aims at the comprehensiveness and comparability of the low-price goods trade of made in China, intends to provide the new empirical data and comparative study, so as to make Yiwu become the focus of economics, business, science, history and anthropology research.
