The Provincial Government Office of Zhejiang issued the Implementation Opinions on Comprehensively Optimizing the Construction of Development Zones to Promote the Deepening of Reform and Opening up and Innovative Development, with an aim to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of development zones across the province and develop open economy at a higher level. According to the Implementation Opinions, being one of the national development zones, Yiwu Economic and Technological Development Zone will be granted with management authorities on economy and so forth equal to those for cities set with districts and confronted with new development opportunities.
