Yiwu Global Merchants' Home Has Been Formally Establishe
For the purpose of promoting the friendship between merchants from various countries and gathering the power of global merchants, Yiwu global merchants’ home has been formally established. It marks that more than 15,000 permanent merchants in Yiwu have their own home.
Yiwu is a world-class business platform, and it is also a place where global merchants gathered. According to information, a continuous stream of foreign merchants came to Yiwu to purchase every year. There are more than 15,000 permanent merchants in Yiwu for purchasing, and foreigners that come from more than 100 countries do business, reside and live in Yiwu. They get along with each other and develop jointly. They bring different culture, different life-style and different thought and idea to Yiwu.
With the concern of Municipal Party Committee and Government and strongly support of relevant departments, Yiwu Municipal Commercial Affairs Bureau took nearly half a year-long effort and preparation to facilitate the formal establishment of Yiwu global merchants’ home. The aim of establishing Yiwu global merchants’ home is to improve communication and cooperation and to make every foreign merchant feel the warmth of home; to gather the power of global merchants in Yiwu, drive the development of Yiwu and promote the prosperity of international trade.
In addition, Yiwu global merchants’ home also sets up policy-making consulting club, economy & trade club, public benefit club and sports club. They will organize different activities every year. In future, they will set up all kinds of clubs, salons or forums with different themes. The council has also established a WeChat group and an online international community via mobile terminal, which provides a communication platform to the merchants of global merchants’ home.
