China Retail Imported Commodities Procurement Summit Held
As an important supporting activity of the China Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair 2017, the China Retail Imported Commodities Procurement (Yiwu) Summit 2017 was held in the Press Conference Hall at the International Expo Center on May 7.
Focusing on the general background of consumption upgrading in the new retail age, the Summit invited such guests as industrial masters, representatives of excellent enterprises, and high-quality importers and set up a resource-interfacing platform to discuss how the vast chain supermarkets, chain department stores, and large wholesale enterprises centered on consumer demands across the country should do to improve the ability of product differentiation operation and profitability through the organization and operation of imported commodities.
According to information, 182 bosses and senior executives of 62 retail enterprises from various autonomous regions, cities, and provinces of China participated in the Summit. The guests delivered speeches and held talks on the topics of "data interpretation of the new blue ocean of imported commodities in the consumer market of China", "interpretation of the new cross-border e-commerce operation model of chain retail enterprises", "how chain retail enterprises should do to improve the business performance of imported commodities", and "operation of imported commodities in the new retail age" to analyze the development trend of imported commodities consumption and discuss the procurement upgrading path of retail enterprises from different perspectives.
