HIT Robot Project Settled in Yiwu
Recently, the Management Committee of Yiwu Information Optoelectronics Hi-tech Zone formally signed a cooperation agreement on Yiwu industrial park with HIT Robot Group Co., Ltd., and both parties would jointly build a scientific and technological industrial park of intelligent manufacturing that will mainly serve robots and integrates R&D, incubation, production, demonstration, and sales in Yiwu.
Being one of the key domestic universities, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) owns certain R&D strength in industrial technological researches. Yiwu is a city creating miracles, and its commodity market enjoys a good reputation both at home and abroad. The advantages of both parties are strongly complementary, so there is a large space of cooperation. Both parties hope to further enhance cooperation and exchanges and extend the university-local government cooperation to a larger scope, a higher level, and wider fields.
With a total investment of about RMB 2 billion, the Yiwu Industrial Park Project of HIT Robot Group Co., Ltd. primarily includes sectors of Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Base, Yiwu Science and Technology Venture Center of HIT Robot Group Co., Ltd., Public Service Platform of Intelligent Manufacturing, and Financial Service Platform of Intelligent Manufacturing and mainly gather enterprises engaged in data service, interaction management, robot system, basic hardware, motion control, positioning and navigation, human-computer interaction, and image recognition.
